The bird on the front closes the front pocket, made of a soft faux suede. The large compartment is closed with a zipper that can be opened widely thanks to the two pullers, giving you a good overview of your belongings at once. You can push the handle down so that the bag retains its shape, or lift it up to use it as a handbag. The ends are little leaves that keep everything in place.
